So over Fall Break my friend, Shelley, had the awesome idea of taking her son Carter on a fun getaway and inviting two of his friends to go along with their moms. So Braden and I got to go along with Austin and his mom Holly. We kept it a secret from the boys until they got home from school the day we were leaving. Needless to say the boys were way excited when they found out!
Here the boys are goofing off in the car while getting ready to go.
We started our date by going to Liberty Land in Lehi. It was such a fun place to take the boys. We played mini golf, rode on all the rides and finished by playing Laser Tag, which was my favorite!
The boys had fun fishing all the golf balls out of the water.
Boys will be boys! They were having fun throwing all the balls they found in the hole and listening to the bell go off.
We all felt pretty cool in our gear!
We also went to Cafe Rio for dinner. I love their food! The boys entertained us with a little show of their own, they can't keep their hands off each other. They are Crazy!
After we were done playing, we headed up to Midway to the condo that we rented. We did a little swimming and watched Napoleon Dynamite. The boys thought it was cool to not have a bedtime and be able to eat all the licorice and popcorn they wanted.
We had so much fun with the boys! It was fun to just be crazy with them.

That looks so fun! That's a good idea to take one of the kids for a special day. I will have to remember that. I'm sorry about NKOTB, I suck! Have fun and let's get together soon.
